Major technology milestones
1980s
OKIOK releases several cutting-edge products, which are met with great success, and makes a major impact on operations at some well-known organizations. In 1987, OKIOK launches the RAC/M encryption and access control card. This was a highly evolved card that not only formed part of an advanced encryption solution but helped implement a sound management structure for information access.
1990s
Research continues over the years. In the mid-1990s, OKIOK develops the RAC/M IX card, which is still in use today in the health and finance sectors. This high performance card features heightened security, and enables users to perform symmetric cryptography operations.
Other notable developments include Focal Point, a unique login procedure solution and Web Global Trust, an access management solution.
2000s
The quality and technological foresight of these products gain worldwide attention. In 2005, German public company Beta Systems acquires Focal Point; and in 2006, the multinational company Siemens acquires Web Global Trust. Both companies now offer these products as part of their product offerings.
