We are delighted to announce that the OKIOK team will be on Radio-Canada this summer, as part of the series Curieux Métiers, broadcast from this coming June.
It is during the episode “De l’ombre à la lumière”, airing on 11 July, that our experts Daniel Boteanu and François Daigle will present a simulation of expert testimony and a digital forensics hearing before the court. They will also present a few real cyber-investigation cases, following the approaches they took on actual files, one of them more traditional and the other technological. Because computer investigation is a complex field and still little known, the programme will be very useful in bringing more information to light about this expertise of the future. A simulation of hacking and a demonstration of computer vulnerabilities were also filmed at the HackFest competition while the programme was being shot, in November 2012.
So mark your calendar for 11 July on Radio-Canada Estrie, Ottawa-Gatineau and Western Canada. The series will also be shown on Explora at the end of summer 2014, and live on ici.radio-canada.ca, depending on the region selected.
