
S-Filer Portal™ is a complete solution that allows large and small organizations to meet all their enterprise needs for secure file transfer and storage.
Okiok publishes version 4.20.9 of S-Filer/Portal™ secure transfer solution.
This version is a maintenance update primarily aimed at updating the various libraries used by the solution. These updates enhance security, improve overall performance, and ensure greater platform stability. No major functional changes have been made.
Fixes
- Correction of duplicates in audit logs: Removal of automatic index creation on the AuditFileInfo table to eliminate cases where information could be recorded twice.
- Performance improvement – Quota management: Optimization of the query responsible for checking quota limits for communities, reducing execution time and system load.
- Enhanced cookie management: Updated cookie settings by changing the SameSite=None attribute to SameSite=Lax, improving security while ensuring browser compatibility.
- Support for secure HTML formatting in messages: Added the ability to include formatted HTML content in messages related to file transfers, via a security policy (HtmlSanitizerPolicyProvider).
- Awareness of sensitive data protection: Added a placeholder message prompting users not to share sensitive information in message fields associated with file transfers.
- Disabled REST API response caching: Removed the REST API response caching mechanism to ensure data is always up to date and to avoid inconsistencies.
- Addition of a new “Jetty” Logger: This new Logger, commented out by default in the various Log4J files, allows you to view requests on the Server and Gateway (similar to the access.log file on an Apache server) and contains the execution time for each request.
Known Issues
There are currently no known issues with this version.
